OpenAir Cinema - 27-30 Dec | 2-6 Jan
A Festival of Film under the StarsHawke’s Bay’s seventh out-door film festival opens on December 27th at the Black Barn Amphitheatre in Havelock North.
We are in the final stages of carefully selecting the movies to enthrall you in the open-air and, while the programme is varied, each film is a gem of its genre. In the meantime we have the Gift Tickets on sale, these are a great idea for christmas and birthdays.
The amphitheatre in the foothills of Te Mata Peak was purpose built for performances and has quickly gained a reputation as one of New Zealand’s finest out-door venues. It has great acoustics, good sight lines, the best of technology installed and views to die for. Moviegoers can relax back on grassed terraces, sip a glass of wine, nibble on snacks from the in-house caterers or bring a picnic of their own to share with friends. | | Gift tickets can be purchased / printed until December 24. |
| | All the other tickets can be purchased / printed from our website until approx. 5pm on the night. After that, tickets will be available at the gate from 7.30pm onwards. |

| | Public transport option: Hop on the double decker London bus and enjoy a nostalgic ride to the OpenAir Cinema. The bus runs Taradale - Napier - Clive - Amphitheatre and return. Call 844 5200 or 027 6944322 for details. |

| | The amphitheatre has wide, flat, grassed terraces. There is no allocated seating. You are welcome to bring rugs, pillows and low beach chairs. |
| | Tasty food, sweets, wine, beer, coffee and soft drinks will be available. Please feel free to bring your own picnic but as space is limited, please refrain from bringing chilly bins and large bags. |
| | Our license requires that no alcohol be brought into the venue. |
