Greg Heffernan | Fast life....Slow Food Dinner

Greg will cook for you a delicious dinner with great flavours and slow cooked food with depth yet simple techniques for the first time in Black Barn Bistro.
 
The perfect inspiration for your next winter dinner party at home.
 
Greg moved to the UK and France shortly after completing his formal training to gain experience as well as travel the world.
 
On his return, 4 years later Greg worked around New Zealand until taking up the position as head chef at Huka lodge in 1986. During this period he was the author of two cookbooks. The Huka Lodge Cook Book and The Huka Lodge Dessert Cook Book. Both books won the Goodman Fielder Watties cook book of the year awards.
 
From 1995 until 2000 Greg co-owned and operated The Replete Food Company, running Replete café, Replete cooking school, Replete Kitchenware shop and specializes in food and hospitality consultancy for various companies and government organisations.
 
Guest arrival at 6.30pm, dinner from 7.30pm at the Black Barn Bistro.
The dinner includes a complimentary glass of wine on arrival, with canapes and a three course dinner.
We will have a selection of Black Barn wines for you to enjoy during this time, operated as a cash bar.
