Little Bushman | Saturday 29 August

Little Bushman is a psychedelic rock band from New Zealand who wear their '60s and '70s influences on their sleeves, with their front man Warren Maxwell replicating the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Cream, The Who, David Bowie, Pink Floyd etc.

Little Bushman grew out of members of several bands in New Zealand's iconic music scene.
The original members were Warren Maxwell, of Fat Freddy’s Drop, Trinity Roots and the Village Jazz Quartet; Rick Cranson, also of the Quartet; and Tom Callwood on double bass. Feeling the need for a guitarist, they brought in Tom's brother Joe Callwood.

Their aim - purely to take the audience on a ‘sonic journey’ using they’re 60’s influenced, spatially crafted songs and symbiotic improvisational skills to electrify the senses.
