Fat Freddys Drop Ladi 6 Little Bushman | 7 March
Fat Freddy’s Drop, Ladi 6, Little Bushman and the Turnaround DJ’s; one of the most sought after line-ups of 2010 comes to Black Barn Vineyards this summer. It will be the first time all four acts have performed together but not the first they have worked all together. Hip Hop and Soul MC, Ladi 6 who last year released her debut album, Time is Not Much, featured on Fat Freddy’s Drop first studio album, Based on a True Story. Click here to visit Ladi's Website The mastermind behind psychedelic rock group Little Bushman, Warren Maxwell, was one of the founding members of Fat Freddy’s Drop. Success followed him when Maxwell left to pursue new musical direction with another iconic Kiwi band, Trinity Roots.
Little Bushman continues to hit the right note with New Zealanders, with crowds flocking to see the moving performances they’ve become renowned for. Fat Freddy’s Drop released their second studio Album, Dr Boondigga and the Big BW earlier this year. The BBC hailed them New Zealand’s most critically acclaimed band since The Clean and Dallas Tamaira one of the most soulful singers of his generation. SeatingThe Amphitheatre has wide, flat, grassed terraces. There is no allocated seating. No seating is provided. You are welcome to bring rugs, pillows, bean bags and low sand chairs

Food
Light snacks and dinner packs will be available from food stalls around the amphitheatre. Please feel free to bring your own picnic to have beside your car in the grounds before the concert but NO LARGE HAMPERS OR CHILLERS are to be taken in to the amphitheatre as space is limited
Beverages
Wine and beer will be available at the amphitheatre for purchase however our license stipulates that no additional alcohol be brought in to the venue itself.
