		Where Black Barn Vineyards Black Barn Road, Havelock North, Hawkes Bay Cost Rush Cottage is $NZ390.00 per night sleeping a maximum of four people in two bedrooms. An additional crib or day bed can be squeezed in if necessary. This price is for the entire property. A surcharge of $50.00 for midweek one night accommodation Visa and Mastercard accepted - Sorry no Amex or Diners Cancellation Policy In the event we are unable to replace a cancelled booking the following charges apply: if cancelled within 30 days of the arrival then 50% of the total cost of the booking will be charged and if cancelled within 7 days of arrival then 100% of the total cost of the booking will be charged.

Location

Along with Black Barn, Rush Cottage is located right in the heart of the Vineyard. The Cottage looks directly down through the rows of Merlot grapes and out to the mountains in the West, the River valleys in the East and the ocean of Hawke Bay straight ahead to the North. Black Barn Vineyards are just 30 minutes from Napier Airport, 10 minutes from the city of Hastings and just 5 minutes from the quaint and historic village of Havelock North. It is set right in the heart of New Zealand's premier wine growing region and many of New Zealand's most famous wine names are literally on your doorstep. Beautiful beaches, golf courses, trout fishing rivers and shopping are all just minutes away.

During your stay you can also enjoy a premium selection of Black Barn wines. Unlike hotel mini bars, these wines are supplied to you at winery prices and significantly less than hospitality rates. If there is a Black Barn wine we don't have in your retreat just let us know and we will have it ready for your arrival.

Attractions

Many people who stay at either Rush Cottage or Black Barn simply don't want to leave the property. You are surrounded by several acres of vines and a working vineyard. You are welcome to treat the vineyard as 'your own' while you are staying with us and everything from artichokes to fresh figs to almonds to citrus can be gathered from the property depending on the time of year you are with us. Of course you can always lend a hand during 'vintage' aswell! When you are with us, the winery is just next door and is open seven days so we can advise you on the location of the best beaches, golf courses, swimming pools and attractions. We can also organise winery tours, garden visits, guided fishing trips to some of New Zealand's best trout fishing rivers and we can also organise to have fully catered meals prepared and presented at the Cottage if you wish. A full guide to local restaurants and attractions will be in the Cottage when you arrive, we also offer a wide range of activities that we are more than happy to arrange on your behalf.

Property Rental

The price above includes first morning breakfast provisions. There is a 2 night minimum stay for weekends. We accept 1 night bookings during the week.

As with all our properties, Rush Cottage is only available by booking the entire cottage. While we can provide additional servicing or catering if you wish, the property will be entirely yours for the duration of your stay. Privacy and seclusion are assured.

All our properties are well patronised with particularly heavy demands during weekends. If a weekend stay is to be part of your itinerary we would strongly suggest you give us as much notice as possible.
