Riverside Lodge 4 is a four bedroom retreat that sits on the river. A wonderful property for families with great separation and a grand pool pavilion. With easy outdoor indoor flow from the kitchen, living-dining area to the outdoor fireplace and lounge seating. Magnificent views up and down the Tuki Tuki river and across to Te Mata peak. There are walking tracks from the house straight down to the river for nature lovers.

    $1800 p/night for 4 bedrooms (15 Dec - 31 Jan & Easter)
    Additional $75pp above 8 guests

    Check-in: 3.00pm | Check-out: 11.00am.
  • Minimum Rental
    3 night minimum (includes per person)
    4 night minimum Easter (Peak rates)
    Christmas/New Year: 7 night minimum stay

    Visa and Mastercard accepted - Sorry no Amex or Diners
    A valid credit card is required to secure and confirm all bookings regardless of payment method.

Terms and Cancellations

A deposit of 40% of the total is required to secure your reservation. The balance remaining is due 30 days prior to check-in.  Minibar, services and incidentals are then due within seven days of your departure unless otherwise arranged with the Retreat Manager.  If payment has not been for the balance of the accommodation at 30 days before check in, this will be charged to the credit card on file.  
 
 

Bookings cancelled prior to 90 days from arrival the 40% deposit is refunded in full.

Bookings cancelled between 90 and 30 days of arrival the 40% deposit is refunded less the $250 booking fee.

Bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival 100% of total is charged.

Facilities

  • Rooms

    Three king bedrooms with ensuites. Additional fourth family bedroom offers a king bed with bunks (double and single). Shares third king's bathroom.

  • Technology

    Stereo with CD player SKY TV/DVD LCD Flat screen TV Wireless Broadband Internet Connection/no charge IPOD connection

  • Cooking

    A fully equipped kitchen, stocked with the basics. The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, gas hobs, electric oven, microwave.

  • Laundry

    Full laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

  • Entertainment

    Located on the vineyard at Black Barn is an all-weather tennis court - as a guest you are very welcome to play on this during your stay - if required we hold equipment.

  • Outside

    Lodge 4 swimming pool (heated for Labour weekend – end of Easter) overlooks the river with its own pavilion providing further entertainment or relaxing space. Separate outdoor verandah and open fire.

  • Additional

    Generous bedrooms with bathrooms, dressing rooms, toiletries and luxurious robes.

Location

Riverside is a spectacular location perched right above the water on the eastern side of the Tuki Tuki River. Lodge 4 almost feels like it hangs over the river with spectacular views upstream, downstream and straight ahead to the awesome Eastern facing slopes of Te Mata Peak. While in its own private space, Riverside is just ten minutes drive from Havelock North - with wineries, restaurants, golf courses and beaches not far in all directions.

Attractions

There is great trout fishing right at your doorstep - or we can provide a guide to take you a little further afield. You can also enjoy river swimming, kayaking and extensive walking trails. Cape Kidnappers, recognised as one of the worlds great Golf courses is 20 minutes down stream. The beautiful Waimarama and Ocean beaches are 20 minutes to the west. There are wineries and restaurants all within minutes of the gate. Havelock North with its great shopping, delis, antiques and food supplies is 10 minutes away. Property Rental

Lodge 4 has three kingsized bedrooms each with its own luxurious bathroom and dressing room. The third kingsized bedroom shares a wing with a bunkroom offering 4th kingsized bed and bunks (double and single). This gives Lodge 4 a total of three kingsized bedrooms and bathrooms plus family bunkroom. First mornings breakfast provisions are supplied. The minimum stay is three nights and sorry, no pets and no smoking indoors. No fireworks are permitted.
