Riverside Lodge 3 is a three bedroom ensuited property with the option of converting the pool pavilion into the 4th ensuited bedroom with kitchenette. With a generous living area that is open plan, there is a lovely relationship between the living, kitchen and dining area that creates a grand yet welcoming and comfortable environment. The height of luxury with high-end furnishings, bedding and fabrics. A sunny and spacious pool area looks out to the beautiful Tuki Tuki river and up to Te Mata peak.

    $1800 per night with additional $350 p/night for pool room (01 Feb - 14 Dec)
    $2000 per night with additional $350 p/night for pool room (15 Dec - 31 Jan & Easter)

    Check-in: 3.00pm | Check-out: 11.00am.
  • Minimum Rental
    2 night minimum
    3 night minimum NZ statutory holidays and Mission Estate Concerts
    4 night minimum Easter (Peak rates)
    Christmas/New Year: 7 night minimum stay
  • Payment
    Visa and Mastercard accepted - Sorry no Amex or Diners
    A valid credit card is required to secure and confirm all bookings regardless of payment method.

Terms and Cancellations

A deposit of 40% of the total is required to secure your reservation. The balance remaining is due 30 days prior to check-in.  Minibar, services and incidentals are then due within seven days of your departure unless otherwise arranged with the Retreat Manager.  If payment has not been for the balance of the accommodation at 30 days before check in, this will be charged to the credit card on file.  
 
 

Bookings cancelled prior to 90 days from arrival the 40% deposit is refunded in full.

Bookings cancelled between 90 and 30 days of arrival the 40% deposit is refunded less the $250 booking fee.

Bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival 100% of total is charged.

Facilities

  • Rooms

    Three king bedrooms with ensuite. A pool room conversion with a Murphy bed and ensuite bathroom is also available, comfortable for a couple or single, at an additional $350 p/n.

  • Technology

    Stereo with CD player SKY TV/DVD LCD large flat screen TV + another in pool room Wireless Broadband Internet Connection/no charge IPOD connection

  • Cooking

    A fully equipped kitchen, stocked with the basics. The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, gas hobs, electric oven, microwave.

  • Laundry

    Full laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

  • Entertainment

    Located on the vineyard at Black Barn is an all-weather tennis court - as a guest you are very welcome to play on this during your stay - if required we hold equipment that you may borrow.

  • Outside

    Lodge 3 swimming pool (heated for Labour weekend – end of Easter) overlooks the river with its own pavilion providing further entertainment or relaxing space. Separate outdoor verandah.

  • Additional

    Generous bedrooms with bathrooms, dressing rooms, toiletries and luxurious robes. Open indoor fire.

    $25 per porta-cot and $15 per highchair.

Location

Riverside is a spectacular location perched right above the water on the eastern side of the Tuki Tuki River. Lodge 3 almost feels like it hangs over the river with spectacular views upstream, downstream and straight ahead to the awesome Eastern facing slopes of Te Mata Peak. While in its own private space, Riverside is just ten minutes drive from Havelock North - with wineries, restaurants, golf courses and beaches not far in all directions.

Attractions

There is great trout fishing right at your doorstep - or we can provide a guide to take you a little further afield. You can also enjoy river swimming, kayaking and extensive walking trails. Cape Kidnappers, recognised as one of the worlds great Golf courses is 20 minutes down stream. The beautiful Waimarama and Ocean beaches are 20 minutes to the west. There are wineries and restaurants all within minutes of the gate. Havelock North with its great shopping, delis, antiques and food supplies is 10 minutes away. Property Rental

Riverside Lodge 3 has a nightly rental of $1800.00 for up to 6 people using three king-sized bedrooms with ensuite. The pool room with bathroom is offered at $350 p/n in addition and is available for either a couple or single person. Offers a drop down double Murphy bed. First mornings breakfast provisions supplied. The minimum stay is two nights and sorry, no pets and no smoking indoors. No fireworks are permitted.
