Dinner with Greg Johnson
Greg Johnson, on his way home to L.A., stops off at the Bistro for one show only, on Wednesday, 1 October, an up-close and intimate dinner and performance as part of our Winter Series.
Expect favourites like Don’t Wait Another Day, Liberty, Save Yourself, It’s Been So Long, Now The Sun is Out, Looking Out On Monday, I Got Opinions – plus plenty more. And with such a rich songbook, Greg is always open to a request or two from the floor.
It’s been more than 30 years since Greg Johnson first made his mark on the New Zealand music scene with his breakthrough single Isabelle. Since then, his melodic, storytelling songs have filled the radios, charts, and hearts of listeners nationwide.
Across his career, Greg has collected two Tui NZ Music Awards, released 10 Top 20 albums, and built a loyal fanbase on both sides of the Pacific. For this show, he returns from Los Angeles, joined by fellow California-based Kiwi guitarist Ted Brown.
