Euchre Lodge is a brand new three-bedroom en-suited property with the option of adding the pool pavilion as a 4th en-suited bedroom.
With a generous living area that is open plan, there is a lovely relationship between the living, kitchen and dining area that creates a grand yet welcoming and comfortable environment.
Euchre Lodge is 'modern-country' in style and the height of luxury with high-end New Zealand made art and furnishings, bedding and fabrics.
Enjoy the elevated views of the Tuki Tuki River and back to Mount Erin in addition to the already established landscaped gardens.
In summer, spend hours poolside sipping on Black Barn's latest rosé.
In winter, head out for a walk within Euchre Farm and down to the river or, curl up in the sitting room in front of the large roaring fireplace with a glass of Black Barn's latest red.

    $1800 per night with additional $400 p/night for pool pavilion (01 Feb - 14 Dec)
    $2000 per night with additional $400 p/night for pool pavilion (15 Dec - 31 Jan & Easter)
    $2,200 per night with additional $400 p/night for pool pavilion (15 Dec 24 - 31st Jan 2025 & Easter)

    A valid credit card is required to secure and confirm all bookings regardless of payment method.

Terms and Cancellations

A deposit of 40% of the total is required to secure your reservation. The balance remaining is due 30 days prior to check-in.  Minibar, services and incidentals are then due within seven days of your departure unless otherwise arranged with the Retreat Manager.  If payment has not been for the balance of the accommodation at 30 days before check in, this will be charged to the credit card on file.  
 
 

Bookings cancelled prior to 90 days from arrival the 40% deposit is refunded in full.

Bookings cancelled between 90 and 30 days of arrival the 40% deposit is refunded less the $250 booking fee.

Bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival 100% of total is charged.

    Three king bedrooms with ensuite. A pool pavilion with a king bed and ensuite is also available, comfortable for a couple or single, at an additional $400 p/n.

    A fully equipped kitchen, stocked with the basics. The kitchen is complete with two Fisher & Paykel dishwashers and fridges, Mercury oven with gas hobs, microwave, ice machine, Kitchen Aid equipment.

    Full laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

  • Entertainment

    Located on the vineyard at Black Barn is an all-weather tennis court - as a guest you are very welcome to play on this during your stay - if required we hold equipment that you may borrow.

    Euchre Lodge mineral swimming pool (heated Labour weekend – end of Easter). Separate outdoor verandas and dining area. BBQ. Heli-landing location. Euchre Farm walking track and river access.

Location

Euchre Lodge is a spectacular location perched above the water on the north western side of the Tuki Tuki River, with spectacular views upstream, downstream. While in its own private space, it is just twelve minutes drive from Havelock North - with wineries, restaurants, golf courses and beaches not far in all directions.

Attractions

There is great trout fishing right at your doorstep - or we can provide a guide to take you a little further afield. You can also enjoy river swimming, kayaking and extensive walking trails. Cape Kidnappers, recognised as one of the worlds great Golf courses is 20 minutes down stream. The beautiful Waimarama and Ocean beaches are 20 minutes to the west. There are wineries and restaurants all within minutes of the gate. Havelock North with its great shopping, delis, antiques and food supplies is 10 minutes away. Property Rental

Euchre Lodge has a nightly rental from $1800.00 for up to 6 people using three kingsized bedrooms with ensuite. The pool room with bathroom is offered at $400 p/n, available for either a couple or a single person. First morning's breakfast provisions supplied. The minimum stay is three nights, and sorry, no pets and no smoking indoors. No fireworks are permitted.
