Chardie's Angels
In this fabulous collaboration, three legendary Hawke’s Bay winemakers and one of the region’s most talented chefs come together for an unforgettable celebration of all things Chardonnay.
Hosted at Black Barn Bistro on Thursday, 24 July, this one-night-only event showcases the culinary brilliance of Black Barn Executive Chef Regnar Christensen, alongside six exceptional Chardonnays as made and presented by Dave McKee of Black Barn, Penelope Radburnd of Radburnd Cellars, and Ollie Powrie of Chateau Garage.
New Zealand Chardonnay is undergoing a remarkable revival. As vines mature and winemakers refine their craft, Hawke’s Bay is emerging as a world-class region, producing Chardonnays that rival the best of Burgundy.
Each winemaker will share two distinctive expressions of their Chardonnay, expertly matched to four beautifully curated courses that celebrate the richness of Hawke’s Bay’s seasonal produce.
Whether you’re Chardonnay obsessed or simply Chardonnay curious, this is an evening not to be missed.
