Warning: For the first time, New Zealand Today's Guy Williams is bringing his razor-sharp wit, unmatched charm and special brand of comedy chaos to Black Barn Bistro on Thursday, 22 October, and we take zero responsibility for what he says while he's here. It will be strictly comedy first, then dinner, before he's back for a second set. You've been forewarned!

A bit more about Guy
Guy Williams is one of New Zealand's most original comedic voices, best known as the creator and host of the satirical hit New Zealand Today, now the most streamed TV3 comedy in the country and a Guild Award winner for Best Comedy. Before that he made his name pranking NZ's biggest breakfast show by posing as a pro-whaling activist promoting "whale farming," landing himself on the front page of the NZ Herald. Since then he's co-hosted The Project NZ, popped up on 7 Days, Taskmaster NZ and The Block NZ, and taken his stand-up to sold out houses at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.

+ If you'd like to sit close to another group of friends, please email us here. We will organise tables to get the best view of Guy’s performance, so groups of 6 or more may not be seated at the same table. However, we’ll endeavour to seat you all as close together as possible.

+ 6.00 pm - Bistro doors open - Pre-dinner drinks, cocktails and snacks are available for purchase.
+ 7.00 pm - The First Course is served, after which the show will begin.
+ 9.30 pm - Event finishes
