Poplars 3 is a three bedroom ensuited retreat, baronial with height and interesting feature stonework. Open plan living and dining area in a lofted barn style with a stunning framed view of Te Mata Peak. The kitchen is built with rustic naturally distressed timber, and the house boasts beautiful textures and finishes throughout. A sheltered outdoor dining area leads into an open fireplace and pool. Large lawn area with expansive views of the Tukituki valley and Te Mata peak. It is a short walk down to the communal tennis court at Poplars Upstream.

Location
Poplars 3 is also located in the beautiful Tuki Tuki River Valley. It is up a private driveway above the river with spectacular views across the river to the entire ridgeline of Te Mata Peak. While totally secluded, it is just 15 minutes drive from Havelock North, situated 4 kms upstream (west) from the Red Bridge which crosses the Tuki Tuki River.
Attractions
There is great trout fishing right at your doorstep - or we can provide a guide to take you a little further afield. You can also enjoy river swimming, and extensive walking trails. Cape Kidnappers, recognised as one of the worlds great Golf courses is 20 minutes down stream. The beautiful Waimarama and Ocean beaches are 20 minutes to the east. There are wineries and restaurants all within minutes of the gate. Havelock North with its great shopping, delis, antiques and food supplies is 10 minutes away. A valid credit card is required to secure and confirm all bookings regardless of payment method.
Location
Terms & Cancellation
Bookings cancelled prior to 90 days from arrival the 40% deposit is refunded in full.
Bookings cancelled between 90 and 30 days of arrival the 40% deposit is refunded less the $250 booking fee.
Bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival 100% of total is charged.
Location Highlights
Black Barn Bistro and Craggy Range are within a 10 minute drive with Havelock North restaurants and cafes all within 15 minutes. Go a little further afield to Hastings or Napier for more!
You will drive over and have the Tuki Tuki River on your right on your way to this retreat. There is easy access just down the road also.
Ocean Beach is a 20 minute drive and Waimarama Beach a little further being 30 minutes away.
